Sparkly fucking raver herpes.

Fucking glitter. That’s what this make up is about. Oh, and black lips. Wanna rock this look? It’ll look like shit on you, but here’s how:

You’ll need a bunch of stuff you can’t get. For intstance:

3D Silver (M.A.C Pro)

M.A.C Pro’s eyeliner mixing medium (to adhere the glitter)

Feline Kohl Power Pencil (M.A.C again)

Black Dog (Urban Decay’s The Black Palette)

Black Knight lipstick (from M.A.C, duh)

Blackware glimmerglass (guess what brand?)

Ebony kohl liner (M.A.C)

Vino Lip Liner (FROM MOTHERFUCKING M.A.C)

Trace out your crease with black eyeliner. With your 219 blend it out, line your lower lash line and water line, smudge it, blah blah blah. Put some black fucking eyeshadow over it. Okay, now I know that was hard, but bear with me.  Take the eyeliner mixing medium and put it on your eyelid. Then press the glitter on up. Okay done.

If you have completed the last few steps (it probably looks awful) line your lips with Vino lip liner. Then reline your lips with a black eyeliner. put on your black lipstick and gloss and you’re done.

If that was too hard I advise you kill yourself.

Wash your fucking make up brushes.

I posted a blog about washing your face, and now I am posting a blog about washing your make up brushes. Washing your brushes is just as important as washing your face. Think about it. Your face has oil. You put your brushes on your face. Then your brushes get the oil from your face on the bristles. If you don’t wash your brushes, then your getting that oil and bacteria into your make up and back onto your face again. Then you get acne. Nobody wants acne. It’s unsightly. So if you have make up brushes and want to know how to clean them so they aren’t squalid germ infested monstrosities, keep reading.

Deep Cleaning- There are two different kinds of ways to clean your brushes. Deep cleaning and spot cleaning. Deep cleaning is when you thoroughly wash your brushes. I usually do this three times a week. Maybe more, depending. The way I like to do this is by using baby shampoo. It’s super gentle and cleans your brushes well. Anyways, this is what you do.  Get your brushes together and go to think sink of your choice. Put that water on lukewarm/cold water, because hot water will damage the hair follicle.  This also applies to your hair.  Rinse with cold water. Helps keep your hair nice. Anyways, back to the brush washing. Wet the bristles and pour some baby shampoo into the palm of your hand. Then, wash the brush very gently. Rinse thoroughly.  Also, try to keep the water on the bristles only. If you get the water on the handle, it will seep into the ferrule and cause the brush hairs to rot and fall out. Lay out to dry.

Spot Cleaning- Same basic concept, except you use brush cleanser. Use M.A.C’s. It’s the best out there. Rinse them afterwards though.

PROTIP: For wax based products (lipsticks, concealers, etc) use olive oil to help break up the product.

Wash your fucking face.

There is nothing more disgusting then people who don’t wash off their make up. Fucking go to CVS and buy some eye make up remover. God. It’s like five bucks. But in all honesty, Neutogena is a cruelty free company and I use their make up removers. If you wear a full face of make up, then buy both face make up remover and eye make up remover. The skin around your eyes is very delicate and if you don’t use a super gentle remover then you’re skin will get fucked up and you’ll have wrinkles by the time you’re twenty. And that is not sexy. Buy a one step cleanser for your face and an eye make up remover for your eyes. I’ll list companies that don’t animal test at the end of this post. It’s your choice whether you buy cruelty free or not. But this is my god damn blog so I’m only going to list companies that have moral values that I approve of.

Moving on to face wash. I currently use Burt’s Bee’s face wash/moisturizer/spot treatments. I like them. They’re natural and shit. Which is awesome. More importantly, they work. If you have severe acne then there’s no hope for you and you might as well wear a bag over your head for the next five years. But in all honesty you might want to see a dermatologist.

Kay, time to talk about moisturizer. If you don’t moisturize, you probably have dry skin. Which is just outright not good for your skin. And if you wear a full face of make up, you’ve probably noticed how bad your foundation looks when you put it on. Buy a fucking moisturizer. Noah’s Naturals make good moisturizers. And it’s natural. Moisturizing is extremely important for your skin. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and if you don’t take care of it you’ll have problems later on in life. Like premature aging. Also, sunscreen. Fucking use it. Even in the winter. But especially in the spring and summer. The sun can severely damage your skin. And cause premature aging, and honestly, I don’t know anyone who wants to look forty five when they’re thirty.

If you’ve got the money, Urban Decay and M.A.C both have very good skin care products.

List of cruelty free brands (that I use):

Burt’s Bee’s

Noah’s Naturals

Neutrogena

Queen Helene (They make AWESOME face masks)

Freeman

Hard Candy

Montagne Jeunesse (Also makes awesome face masks)

M.A.C Bite Of An Apple Blush(Venomous Villains 2010)

Lips:

Hot House lipglass (Venomous Villains 2010)

How to recreate:

Prime your eyes with UD’s Primer Potion. Put it everywhere, lid, crease, inner corner, brow bone, lower lash line. Then, put B (greasepaint stick) all over the lid. Don’t use too much or it will crease and you’ll look like a hot mess. Which is not the look we’re going for. Then, using your 239 (or any paddle shader brush) pack Blue Flame over the lid. Don’t sweep it on, or you’ll get fallout all over your fucking face. Once again, this is a smokey eye and not an “I slept in my make up and am hung over” eye.

Now, take your 217 or a similar brush and mix The Right Smoke and Jynx together. Place this in your crease, blend with back and fourth motions. Now, take Loaded and do the same thing, putting it over Jynx and The Right Smoke. If it looks a little messy clean up the edges by taking your 275 and blending it out with your face powder or a skin tone eye shadow. Make sure the eye shadow is in YOUR skin tone. Then put Sweetjoy on the brow bone with a blending brush of your choice. Line your lower lash line with Float on By eye kohl and with your 219 put Blue Flame over it. Wipe off your 219 really well and put UD’s Polyester Bride on your inner corner. If you haven’t already, tight line with Zero or a black eyeliner of your choice. Also line your waterline. Line your eye with Signature Blue Super Slick Liquid Liner. Put on your false lashes. I used Red Cherry lashes number 28.

Now for the face. If you didn’t do your foundation already, do it. I use M.A.C Prep+Prime Skin. Then concealer, foundation, powder, etc. Then contour. I use my 168 and Golden to do this. If you don’t know how to contour then go kill yourself. Or look it up youtube. Preferably the first one. Then using the 187, put Bite Of An Apple on the apples of your cheeks. To figure out where the apples of your cheeks are, just smile. Highlight with Truth and Light Magically Cool Liquid powder. Then put your fucking lipgloss on. Then your done.

Potential dupes for some of these products are:

Deep Truth from M.A.C in place of The Right Smoke

Also, for Blue Flame. The Other Mineralize eyeshadow from Venomous Villains, I think it was She Who Dares, the blue side might work.

UD’s Binge 24/7 liner for B greasepaint stick.

NYX’s African Queen for Hot House

Will post more dupes as I find them.
